  1. Linda,
This isn’t a dessert really but I make Pumpkin Butter. I use my slow cooker to let it
simmer so it doesn’t burn. No real recipe on my part cause I make and sell in big
batches some times. Put a large size can of pumpkin in a slow cooker. I put in
sugar and cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir really well and put the cooker on low and let it cook
for maybe 6 or 8 hours. Stirring a few times. I usually taste a few times to make sure my sugar
and cinnamon is right. You put it in clean, hot dry jars and seal. After cool you can store in fridge.

  2. There was a bakery in town that made the most delicious pumpkin (cake) roll with a cream cheese sort of filling. OMG!! It was AWESOME!! Sadly, the bakery has changed owners. 🙁 I wish I could find the recipe that she used.

    1. Hi Trish, this is so funny you would mention this. When I was first married there was a lady in my neighborhood who made a pumpkin roll with a cream cheese filling as I remember. I am going to see if I can find that recipe. I have been wanting to make it for about a year. I will go digging. Great idea!! Linda

      1. Oh I hope you find it!! She only made it from October to December. She would cut the roll about an inch and a half thick….It was worth the $2.50 a slice she charged for it!! I have to find me a towel….I’m drooling just thinking about it!! 🙂

        1. Hi Trish, I made myself a sticky note to remind me. Yes, I remember seeing the towel in the recipe. I’m on it!!!! Now you have me drooling!!! I love it too! Linda
