    Ah – so decadent!!

I have made a French Toast Casserole similar to the Baked Cream Cheese. What I did was cut up thick cut French bread and place in a greased casserole dish (could also use 13X9); cut up cream cheese blocks (I think I used 2 but it has been a few years) and sprinkle the little chunks on top of the bread; I mixed a bunch of eggs to cover the bread/cheese – I lightly beat the eggs with some heavy cream and added maple syrup to that mixture; I then poured this egg mixture over the bread/cheese and covered tightly. I placed it in the fridge overnight and the next morning I baked it at 350F until a knife came out clean – not sure of the timing here but probably the same timeframe as the Baked Cream Cheese recipe.
