  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms, sauteed or 8-oz. can of mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom condensed soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley (for garnish)
  • 8 ounces of cooked noodles, drained
  1. Saute the onion and garlic in the butter over low heat. Add the meat, and brown it with the onion mixture. Add the flour, seasonings, and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the undiluted soup, simmer uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes. Add the sour cream and heat thoroughly. Serve over hot noodles of choice and sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
