Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt or powder
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 3/4 cup icy cold water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
  1. I like to start by dissolving the corn starch in the icy cold water, stir until smooth. Set aside. Grab a saucepan, over medium heat, combine soy sauce, water, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, and honey. Heat through. Add the corn starch mixture and continue cooking until you reach the desired thickness. Add a little water to thin, if you need to. Fold in the sesame seeds and serve.
