Ingredients
  • 1-2 pounds cooked and drained hamburger (optional)
  • 2 onions or equal amount of freeze-dried onions
  • 1-2 green or red bell peppers (chopped or equal amount of freeze-dried bell peppers)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic chopped
  • 2-16- ounce cans of chili beans (do not drain)
  • 2-16- ounce cans of kidney beans (do not drain)
  • 1-28- ounce can diced tomatoes (do not drain)
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder or less
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1-8- ounce can tomato paste or sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until thoroughly cooked.
