  • 1-1/2 pound sausage (bulk or sausage)
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 8-ounce cans of water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
  • chili powder to taste
  1. Brown the sausage and drain the grease, if any. Add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Brown lightly. Add the seasoning to taste. Add the uncooked macaroni, the tomato sauce, and the water. Stir in the seasonings. Place the lid on the pan, and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until the pasta is tender to taste.
