Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • juice from one lemon
Instructions
  1. Grab a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn starch, and salt. Gradually add the boiling water, stirring constantly. Simmer over low heat until it starts to thicken. When it's thick enough, remove from heat. Add the butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Stir through. Tastes best when slightly warm or at room temperature.
