  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon oil
  • Red food coloring
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ½ cup water
  1. Prepare a jelly roll pan (the cookie sheet with sides) by lightly greasing OR line the pan with foil that is lightly greased.
  2. Mix sugar, syrup, and water together in a large heavy pan. Bring to the hard crack stage (300°F - 310°F). Stir constantly. Add cinnamon oil and food coloring to reach the desired color. Pour into prepared pan. Cool completely. Break into pieces.
