Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients, except for the vanilla, in a double boiler pan (you put water in the lower pan) and mix thoroughly. Use a mixer while cooking over medium heat for 7 minutes, or until you get the desired consistency. I like “stiff peaks." Add the vanilla and frost your cake or cupcakes.
