Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef, cooked, and drained
  • 1 -10.5 ounce can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 -10.5 ounce can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1-1/2 cups celery, chopped
  • 8 -ounce can of sliced chestnuts, drained
  • 1-1/2 cups white rice (uncooked)
  • 2 cups of water
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 5 -ounce can chow mein noodles
Instructions
  1. Gather all of your ingredients and preheat your oven to (350°F) = (176°C). Grease a 9 by 13-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large skillet or frying pan, brown the hamburger or ground beef and drain any excess grease.

  3. Grab a large mixing bowl, add the cooked ground beef. Now it is time to add the two cans of soup, chopped celery and chopped onions. Drain the can of water chestnuts and add them to the mixture. Pour in the uncooked rice, water, and soy sauce. You are good to go!

  4. Pour or scoop the mixture into the greased baking dish.

  5. In the preheated oven, bake for 1-1/2 hours covered with foil.

  6. Remove the pan from the oven, and remove the foil.

  7. Sprinkle the 5 ounces of Chow Mein Noodles on top and bake an additional 10 minutes uncovered. Enjoy!
