Ingredients
  • 2 pounds slightly browned stew meat, cut into bite-size pieces (today, I cut back the meat to one pound)
  • 2 packages of Lipton Dry Onion Soup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5 medium potatoes, peeled, and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 2 cups chopped baby carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cans of cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup ketchup
Instructions
  1. Grease a slow cooker. Place the slightly browned meat into the slow cooker. Sprinkle the onion soup, garlic powder, and paprika evenly over the meat pieces. Add the chopped potatoes, onions, celery, and carrots. Combine the ketchup and cream of celery soup until mixed completely. Pour this mixture over the meat and vegetable mixture. Stir until well-coated. Place the lid on the slow cooker and turn it to low for 8 hours or until the vegetables are tender and meat is cooked through. Consider stiring from time to time, but certainly after cooking. Serve with French bread. Enjoy.
