Cream the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, peanut butter, baking soda, salt, and vanilla. Mix well.
Stir in flour and oats.
Spread dough out on two BUTTERED 9 by 13-inch (one-inch deep) baking pans. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. "DO NOT OVERBAKE".
Cool until the top is set. Then spread one pound of peanut butter that has been whipped to a fluffy consistency.
Frost with Chocolate Icing. Cut into bars.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the unsweetened cocoa, salt, and powdered sugar. Add a little milk until the consistency is what you want. Carefully spread on top of the whipped peanut butter.
