Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
  • One 3.4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding
  • 2-1/4 cups white flour (I use white bread flour)
  • 1-1/2 cups M & M's (green and red for Christmas)
Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a small cookie sheet (approx. 9-1/2 inches by 13-inches). Cream the butter, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Add the dry ingredients, the vanilla instant pudding, and the flour. Mix thoroughly. Fold in the M & M's. Spread the dough evenly onto the greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool and cut into 2-inch squares.
