If you have been looking for a book to be prepared, I have you covered. My book, Prepare Your Family For Survival is the book every family needs in order to survive any disaster, flood, fire, evacuation, etc. I show you step by step what to use for cooking, water storage and food storage and more. My goal when I started writing my blog was to teach the world to be prepared for the unexpected. I have always believed in having enough food storage. It’s a way of life for me. My daughters always tease me because I buy ten of everything that I use all the time. I’ve been in situations where food storage was a must, and I wished my neighbors had been prepared too. We all need to look out for each other, not just by being willing to share, if necessary, but also to inform others of the “how and why” of being properly prepared.
To Be Prepared You Need:
My book, Prepare Your Family For Survival is officially at several stores starting today, Dec. 8th, 2015. Here’s the deal with my book, it would make a great gift for your family and friends. You can buy it at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, The Book Depository, Walmart, Target, iTunes, Overstock.com, Jet.com, Google play, and many more stores. The distribution team has done a great job working to make the book conveniently available to as many people as possible in stores and online. Of course, seeing the book in person at a local store provides a chance to check out the contents beforehand so you know exactly what is being covered and how it may apply to you and your family and friends. I suggest the paperback copy since an ebook may not work as desired if the power goes out or you need to evacuate your home.
I am extremely grateful to my publisher, Page Street Publishing and Macmillan Distributing for making this opportunity possible. I was approached about a year ago via email to see if I would be interested in writing a book. My publisher, William Kiester and editor Sarah Monroe set up a conference call and asked me my thoughts about writing a book. I said that I wasn’t an author and hadn’t planned to ever write a book. They responded that they wanted someone who could write about the material based on personal experience and extensive research. From my blog / website they had seen what was being provided to my followers and I guess it was the type of information they felt the world at large could use.
We all can feel overwhelmed when it comes to figuring out how to start and what is needed. This book takes a practical approach without being preachy or long-winded on the various topics covered. You can go to Amazon and read a synopsis of the concepts covered. Give it a look, you’ll be glad you did. Here’s to being prepared for the unexpected. May God bless your efforts.
I quote from Page Street Publishing:
“Page Street is a proud member of 1% for the Planet and donates 1% of its annual revenue to environmental groups.”
