FoodSaver V3880 Vacuum Sealer – The Master Chef Kit Giveaway

This Giveaway is now over.  Thanks to all that entered.  Our winner is…#1229 Liz T.
Kendra and I have done posts in the past using my old white  (but keeps on working FoodSaver#1050). Well, I am here to tell you about my NEW Foodsaver V3880. It’s a whole lot fancier than my old one.  I decided to send an email to my married daughter’s that I was getting a NEW FOODSAVER and asked  if anyone wanted my old FoodSaver. Literally within minutes two daughter’s that had seen the email were asking for it. Love it! Well, it didn’t take me long to see why I needed this new one.Yes, I will be demonstrating how easy and economical it is to use the FoodSaver in my food storage and emergency prep classes. We want to show our readers why you need one of these.  If you can’t afford this one then get a less expensive one.  My suggestion is you must get one with a hose accessory for sealing jars.  If you work, you will save money and eat healthier with a FoodSaver “Salad in a Jar” when taken to work.  You can make your family healthy salads (spinach or lettuce) one day a week (make 7 quarts or pints at a time) if you “seal” 7 jars.  I have had mine stay fresh just under 14 days!  You open the jar put the greens in a bowl and add your favorite tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, craisins, nuts, etc. Easy and healthy!  Talk about saving money instead of getting take out for lunch…..just saying. You will need to get a FoodSaver like I said with the hose accessory and some quart or pint jars.  I have heard that these are getting scarce..the quart and pint canning jars.  I like to use the Wide Mouth canning jars for my brown sugar, salads, oatmeal and smoothies in a jar.  The lids are reusable if you remove them carefully after “sealing”. You will need what’s  called a FoodSaver Wide-mouth Jar Sealer for wide mouth canning jars.  You will buy a Foodsaver Regular Jar sealer for the smaller regular mouth jars.  Here is a video we made demonstrating how you can use the FoodSaver every day!

This FoodSaver V3880 is awesome. It automatically seals when you insert your bag in the slot. The accessory hose is built in!  It even has a marinade container that attaches to the hose accessory and marinates a whole lot faster than leaving in the refrigerator overnight. Kendra and I definitely recommend this Foodsaver unit!  Let’s start saving money by using a FoodSaver! FoodSaver® Brand wants to give a FoodSaver V3880 to one of our lucky readers!
This is what comes with the FoodSaver V3880:
  • 1 – 11” x 10’ Heat- Seal Roll
  • 3 – Quart-size Heat -Seal Bags
  • 2 – Gallon-size Heat-Seal Bags
  • 1- 2 ¼ Quart Oval Marinator
  • 1 – Portion Pouch Roll
  • 16 –Freeze N’ Steam Bags
  • FoodSaver® Custom Tip Book
  • Quick Start Guide & Reference Manual

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Good Luck, and have a safe and fun weekend!

I have an old Food Saver that does not work anymore! It would be wonderful to win a new one!!

I used my Food Saver a lot when I would divide meats into meal portions and freeze them! It really worked well. I also used it to marinate chicken–yum!

I’ve never used a Foood Saver before but I could only imagine the money I could save on food I throw away because they have expired before I can use it. It would be great to get something like this. By the way…Great Video!
